The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards are over, but the memories of the Krypton 25s will live on forever.  This 28th edition of madness lived up to the hype!  You can always expect the unexpected from the VMA and  Lighting Designer Tom Kenny delivered.  He put together over 2,000 lighting fixtures for the most watched MTV show to date. Over 12.4 Million viewers witnessed this lighting orgy of technology that Kenny and his team masterfully put together. Front and center was over 60 Krypton 25s from Elements, the matrix choice for the world's top lighting designers.  The Kr 25 was Kenny's choice for a perfect background lighting element.  Almost every camera angle had a Kr 25 in the background.  For the live musical performance, Kenny amped up the Kr 25s.  The night came to a energetic climax with Lil Wayne's performance of How to Love and John .  During the final performance of Lil Wayne's rock song John, Kenny used all 1,900 watts of this fixture and fully put it through its paces with the fastest lighting cues the Kr25s have seen.  Gear provided by VER.
